Vadim Viktorovich Repin ((ロシア語:Вадим Викторович Репин); (:vɐˈdʲim ˈvʲiktərəvʲɪtɕ ˈrʲepʲɪn);〔(Vadim Repin pronounced in Russian )〕 born 31 August 1971) is a Belgian (naturalized) Russian violinist who lives in Vienna.〔(Article ) by Susanna Dal Monte on www.oe1.orf.at, 21 June 2012〕

==Education==
Vadim Repin was born in Novosibirsk, Western Siberia, on 31 August 1971. He began to play the violin at the age of five. He went on to study with Zakhar Bron, the famous violin teacher. At only eleven, he won the gold medal in all age categories in the Wieniawski Competition and gave his recital débuts in Moscow and St Petersburg. In 1985 at fourteen he made his débuts in Tokyo, München, Berlin, Helsinki; a year later in Carnegie Hall.
